Hi.

I’m Michele. And this is my first RitzBitz blog post, or rather — hopefully — the first of many.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’m an avid photographer and I hail from the Pittsburgh, PA. (Go Steelers!) I own many cameras, many of them film and a couple of them digital. To be specific, I own a Nikon D70s digital SLR, a Fuji Finepix F45fd, a Nikon N80 film SLR, a Rolleiflex film twin lens reflex, a bunch of plastic toy cameras (Holga, Diana, Lomo Fisheye), some lenses, some flashes, etc, etc…you get the point.

I’ve been involved with photography for many years now…if you know me personally, I guess you could say that photography is my life. Literally.

Enough about me. The real purpose of this blog is to educate and inform you, the readers, about the new and exciting things happening today in the world of imaging. And believe me, there is a LOT.

I’ll also be here for advice on general imaging questions and concerns. It is something I’m pretty good at, this advice thing, and hopefully you all will walk away from this blog with something you’ve never known before.

Any questions? Concerns? Rebuttals? Please feel welcome to leave some comments at the end of my post; I know there are a lot of imaging topics out there that all of you readers out there would love to discuss.
