Create Your Own Greeting Cards

December 1st, 2007 by Rick · No Comments · How Do I, RitzPix News

Season’s Greetings fellow photographers!

Today I am kicking off our Holiday Series!  This is my favorite time of year and I cannot wait to share some photography tips for various Holiday activities! Last time I talked about tips for taking a great family portrait for your Holiday cards this year.

I am going to help you use those portraits to create your best Holiday card yet using your online photo account. Just follow these simple steps. It’s fast, easy, and fun!

Upload
the image to your account from your computer.

Select your image.

Click the “Create
  Cards & Calendars
” tab.

Click on the “Cards
  category.

Select “Get Started.”
Select one of the Seasonal
  Favorites
categories, or feel free to browse through all
  of them.
Choose either a “Landscape
(horizontal) or “Portrait” (vertical) layout for
  the card.
Browse through the selection
  of card templates
until you find the perfect one; there are
  many to choose from!
The card tool will guide you from here. Drag the image into the frame, and enter your custom text. You can also zoom, rotate, or move the image on the card so it displays exactly the way you want it to, and you can convert the image to black and white or sepia for a more classic look if you want. When the card is ready, click on “Order Now” at the top of the page, and follow the instructions to checkout. It’s that easy! When choosing the template for your card, be sure to choose a color scheme that will match your photo. Also, there are other Holiday-themed products available, such as print borders and gift tags, that you may want to order as well.Next time we will take a look at other fun items available this season to give you some great gift ideas you may not be aware of! Until then, have a Happy Thanksgiving, and have fun building your cards!
