Fujifilm U.S.A. Inc., Valhalla, N.Y., announced the Wide Format Inkjet business unit of Fujifilm Hunt Chemicals U.S.A. Inc. will become part of the Fujifilm U.S.A. Imaging Division as of April 1. Fujifilm says retailers and professional labs will benefit from the convenience of a single point of order for all imaging hardware and supplies, including wide format inkjet products.

  “Many of our customers are currently expanding their Frontier solutions to generate revenue from a wide range of products beyond traditional 4-by-6 prints,” said John Placko, senior product manager, Wide Format Inkjet Products, Imaging Division, Fujifilm U.S.A. “This announcement underlines our commitment to meeting the varied needs of these customers in today’s changing imaging marketplace.”

  Fujifilm’s Wide Format Inkjet product line consists of more than 250 products such as inks, papers and printer hardware from Epson, as well as Fujifilm-branded media. Included in the product line is the Epson/Fujifilm Stylus Pro 7880 wide-format inkjet printer, which can be integrated with any Fujifilm Frontier system to create poster prints and other large format products.
