·    Leica Camera Inc. USA, Allendale, N.J., announced several corporate developments and appointments including promotion and expansion in the Marketing Department, Photographic Division, and a new sales manager in Canada. Christian Erhardt has been promoted from marketing manager to director of marketing. His responsibilities range from organizing Leica-sponsored events, to organizing Leica’s participation at trade shows in North America, and keeping strong relationships with key journalists and writers. Brian Bell has returned to Leica Camera as the national sales manager after a two year hiatus. Bell will be responsible for maintaining dealer relationships, in-store events and national inventory management for Canada. Justin Stailey has joined Leica’s Marketing Department, Photographic Division, as product specialist. According to the company, Stailey is known throughout the photographic industry as a go to person for all aspects of photographic solutions involving cameras, lighting, grip, and remote technologies.

·    Eastman Kodak Co., Rochester, N.Y., named Dolores K. Kruchten a vice president of the company, effective immediately. Kruchten was appointed general manager, Document Imaging, and vice president, Graphic Communications Group in January 2007. Kruchten joined Kodak in 1981, and has worked in site engineering, manufacturing, research and development, acquisitions, and information technology systems. Prior to leading the Document Imaging business, she was general manager, Global Services, Graphic Communications Group, where she led the integration of six service businesses into a single organization.

·    Royal Sovereign International Inc., Rockleigh, N.J., named Nigel Mison to the sales management team in the Graphics Division. Mison will be concentrating on supporting and expanding the laminating dealership network in the eastern part of the country, as well as developing national accounts. Royal Sovereign International Inc., founded in 1986, is a leading manufacturer and distributor of Graphic Lamination Products, Office Products and Appliances.

·    Adobe Systems Inc., San Jose, Calif., named Rob Tarkoff senior vice president of corporate development. Tarkoff was previously senior vice president of EMC Corp. Global Alliances. Joining EMC in 2003 through the acquisition of Documentum Inc., Tarkoff held several executive positions. Reporting to Shantanu Narayen, Adobe president and chief operating officer, Tarkoff will assume responsibility for managing and driving Adobe’s strategic planning and alliances, mergers and acquisitions and new business initiatives. Tarkoff succeeds John Brennan who recently transitioned to the role of co-leader and senior vice president of Adobe’s Platform Business Unit.

·    Media Street Inc., New York, N.Y., announces radio personality Gia’na Garel as marketing and public relations consultant for the eMotion brand and Beyond fm campaigns. Garel has gained experience with current market trends from co-hosting a radio show, “On The Real” featured on Air America and XM Radio. She has also spent time writing for various publications covering genres such as film, television, radio, print and publishing to successful business ventures. Garel will help bridge the divide between digital content (in the form of photography, music and movies) and Media Street’s line of eMotion electronics. Garel will be in charge of moving products in the hands of current musicians and actors, as well as public relations work.
